The Oldest Cold Case in BATH History Solved After 32 Years Using Genetic Genealogy
In June 1984, 17-year-old Melanie Road left a nightclub in Bath, England, and began the short walk home she had taken many times before. She never arrived. Despite one of Britain’s largest murder investigations and crucial forensic evidence collected from the very beginning, her killer remained unidentified for more than 32 years. This documentary explores the crime, the relentless investigation, the breakthrough that finally changed everything, and the family’s decades-long search for justice.
