Swansea City have named Jay Lefevre as their new head of recruitment, in addition to appointing Pedro Pereira as head of goalkeeping.
Prior to the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, it was confirmed that former goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson – who was in his second spell with the club – would leave Swansea this summer.
Portuguese Pereira was most recently goalkeeping coach at Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg – where he previously worked alongside current Swans boss Vitor Matos.
Pereira also held roles at clubs including Al Sadd in Qatar and Famalicao in his native Portugal.
Lefevre joined Swansea from Celtic in December 2025 as chief scout, little more than a month after Matos was named as Alan Sheehan’s successor as head coach.
The club praised Lefevre in his previous role with the Championship side, saying he “impressed everyone with the clarity and calibre of his work” which included “leading our preparations for this summer window over recent months”.
