At Belfast City Airport, flights departing to and arriving from destinations such as London, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool were cancelled.

An airport spokesperson said that “due to adverse weather conditions across the UK, there may be disruption to flights due to arrive and depart”.

At Belfast International Airport, 17 flights were cancelled this morning.

A spokesperson for the airport said that the storm “continues to cause some disruption to flights” and that “delays can be expected”.

At Dublin Airport, strong winds continue to have an impact on flight operations on Sunday.

“Mainly due to weather issues in other countries, airlines have so far cancelled 12 inbound and 12 outbound flights,” Graeme McQueen from the airport’s operator daa has said.

He added that further disruption is possible due to the wind warnings.
