A man, thought to be the leader of an organised crime gang that targeted elderly and vulnerable people, is unlawfully at large for a second time.
Raymond Lee, 32, who is awaiting sentencing, breached his conditions while on compassionate bail for a funeral on 19 June 2025, after failing to return to Maghaberry Prison.
Lee had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and money laundering offences relating to a series of courier frauds in 2020 and 2021.
Police have described him as being approximately 5ft 11in tall (180cm), of slim build, with brown hair.
This is the second time Lee has been at large, having evaded police in August 2023 after taking compassionate bail to attend a funeral in Dublin.
He failed to return to Maghaberry Prison and was arrested in October of that year.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: “Police are appealing directly to Ray Lee to hand himself in.”
“We would also ask anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, not to approach him directly but to contact police on 101,” they added.
