In an annual tradition, the Labour MP recalled victims, reading out a list of killed women to mark International Women’s Day.
Jess Phillips named every woman, and listed some unknown women, killed in the UK in the last year, where the primary suspect or known killer is a man.
The shadow minister for domestic violence and safeguarding said reading the names was the “honour of my life”.
