Emma Finucane says she will go back to the drawing board in 2025 in the hope of becoming “unstoppable” at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old track cyclist ended 2024 with an Olympic gold medal, two Olympic bronzes, two World Championship golds and now an MBE.<\/p>\n

After a long break in Australia over the winter, Finucane says she is hoping to get even better after a “dream-come-true” year.<\/p>\n

“I want to win three gold medals at the next Games in LA,” she told BBC Sport Wales. “So I need to find my weaknesses.<\/p>\n

“We’re really going to go back to square one, back to training and the gym. The next couple of years will be about training, not so much about racing.<\/p>\n

“There’s a lot of hard work behind it, but I’m really up for the challenge to see what else I can do my career.<\/p>\n

“It’s just the start for me, which is kind of crazy saying that.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
