With 6.11m I got a good result, but the world record wasn&#8217;t meant to be tonight.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Norway&#8217;s Jakob Ingebrigtsen took victory in the men&#8217;s 1500m with a time of 3:30.37, holding off Kenya&#8217;s Timothy Cheruiyot and Paris Games winner Cole Hocker. Britain&#8217;s Josh Kerr was not running.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Jamaica&#8217;s Ackeem Blake won the men&#8217;s 100m in 9.93s ahead of Americans Christian Coleman (10.00s) and Olympic bronze medallist Fred Kerley (10.01s).<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Olympic and world champion Marileidy Paulino continued her dominance on the track by winning the women&#8217;s 400m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Dominican Republic athlete took victory with a time 49.45s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">She is unbeaten in one-lap competition since last year&#8217;s Diamond League meet in Silesia, Poland.
