Wolves have completed the signing of Brazil midfielder Andre from Fluminense in a deal that could be worth up to \u00a321m.<\/b><\/p>\n
Andre won the Copa Libertadores – South America’s equivalent of the Champions League – with Fluminense in 2023 and has five caps. <\/p>\n
He arrives at Molineux for an initial \u00a318.5m, plus up to \u00a32.5m in add-ons.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old saw a move to Fulham fall through earlier in the window after he said he would be keen on a move to the Premier League. <\/p>\n
Speaking about their latest recruit, the club’s sporting director Matt Hobbs said: “It\u2019s one that I thought we were going to miss out on, so I’m unbelievably excited to have him come and join us.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s physically good and we think he\u2019ll thrive in the Premier League. It’s a player that we’re picking on the way up – he’s not coming to us having won his trophies on the way down.”<\/p>\n
Earlier on Friday, the West Midlands club signed England goalkeeper Sam Johnstone<\/a> for \u00a310m from Crystal Palace. <\/p>\n Andre’s arrival means they have signed seven players this summer with England Under-21s midfielder Tommy Doyle, Portuguese winger Rodrigo Gomes, Brazilian defender Pedro Lima, French youth international defender Bastien Meupiyou and Norway striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, who is on loan from Celta Vigo also joining Gary O’Neil’s squad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
