Gloucester-Hartpury have signed Canada front-rower Gillian Boag for the 2024-25 season.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 29-year-old joins the two-times Premiership Women’s Rugby champions as injury cover after Wales hooker Kelsey Jones suffered a “significant” knee injury<\/a> in May.<\/p>\n

Boag has been capped 20 times by her country and was part of the Canada team that reached the semi-finals of the 2021 World Cup. <\/p>\n

Head coach Sean Lynn said Boag will be a “great addition” to the squad.<\/p>\n

“After Kelsey Jones suffered her injury last season, we’re looking to add some more depth in that position and Gillian will definitely add that,” he said.<\/p>\n

Gloucester-Hartpury begin their pursuit of a third-straight league title against Leicester Tigers<\/a> when the new season begins on 6 October.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
