Wales wing Josh Adams says he would love to play in a third World Cup as he targets a first trip to Australia next year.<\/b><\/p>\n
It is exactly a year until Wales play their opening game against Zimbabwe in Adelaide on 2 October, before further pool games against Tonga and England.<\/p>\n
“I’m desperate to go, but there is loads of rugby to be played and months ahead of us,” said Adams, looking ahead to the tournament.<\/p>\n
“It is important that you navigate your way through correctly and get to that start line in a good spot to be selected.”<\/p>\n
Adams, 31, was the World Cup’s top try scorer in the 2019 tournament in Japan with seven as Wales reached the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
The Cardiff back, who was also part of the squad that lost a quarter-final to Argentina four years later, insists he is just as excited for a hat-trick of global tournaments.<\/p>\n
“I’ve never been to Australia, so that, as well as playing in a World Cup, is something I’m determined to do,” said Adams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
