Premier League Coventry City have signed winger Loum Tchaouna from relegated <\/b>Burnley<\/b><\/a> for an undisclosed fee.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old Frenchman has signed a five-year contract, Coventry said.<\/p>\n

Reports say the deal is worth about \u00a320m.<\/p>\n

Tchaouna joined Burnley<\/a> from Lazio last summer and scored three goals in 32 appearances as the Clarets were unable to preserve their top-flight status.<\/p>\n

“I’m so excited to start this new season in the Premier League, I’m feeling good and ready for the challenge,” the former France youth international said.<\/p>\n

“I was at Burnley<\/a> last season in the Premier League, which was incredible.<\/p>\n

“I’m going to bring my energy, determination and leadership to the team. I’ve played in Ligue 1, Serie A and now I’m playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world, so I have a lot of experience for my young age. I can’t wait for the new season.”<\/p>\n

After coming through the youth ranks at Rennes, he moved to Salernitana in Italy before earning a switch to Lazio.<\/p>\n

Championship title winners Coventry face champions Arsenal<\/a> in their opening league game on 21 August.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
