England’s 3×3 men’s and women’s basketball teams have reached the Commonwealth Games after coming through a Home Nations qualification tournament.<\/b><\/p>\n

With hosts Scotland already qualified, the two-day event at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester featured sides from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.<\/p>\n

After winning all their group games, England men beat Northern Ireland 21-9 in a lively final to book their place in Glasgow and a chance at regaining the title they won at Birmingham 2022.<\/p>\n

The women – silver medallists in Birmingham – were similarly undefeated in the group stages and overcame Wales 21-11 in the final.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
