Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin insists the club are taking Bojan Miovski\u2019s future day-by-day after the player opened talks with Girona about a move.<\/b><\/p>\n
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Pittodrie this summer \u2013 with the La Liga side interested in taking Miovski to Spain.<\/p>\n
A deal could end up commanding a higher fee than any previous outfield player in Scottish football, outwith the Old Firm, with Girona having qualified for the Champions League this season after finishing third in La Liga last term.<\/p>\n
But while Thelin admits the speculation around the forward\u2019s future has been intense, he remains focused on the player\u2019s role in his team for Sunday\u2019s visit of St Mirren.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s a bit more intense this week about speculation, but he is still an Aberdeen player, he is still training with us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were going through set plays today and he was there. So far we focus on day-by-day and he\u2019s an Aberdeen player.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is also trying to focus on that part and that\u2019s important for us also.\u201d<\/p>\n
Miovski has scored 44 goals in 96 Dons appearances and been capped 22 times by North Macedonia, netting three times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
