South African international forward Danelle Lochner has signed a new contract with Premiership Women’s Rugby side Harlequins for the 2026-27 season.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 28-year-old lock joined Quins in 2023 and has made 26 appearances so far, although missed almost four months of the season with a shoulder injury and returned to the pitch at the end of March. <\/p>\n

Lochner has been capped 21 times by Springboks Women and was part of the side that reached the quarter-finals in last year’s World Cup.<\/p>\n

“We’re delighted that Danelle has committed to Harlequins again ahead of the 26-27 season,” said head coach Ross Chisholm.<\/p>\n

“We’ve seen during her time at the club and in international colours, just how good of an operator she is. She is superb in the set-piece and an incredibly dynamic player in attack.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
