Wales and Bath wing Regan Grace has had surgery on a hamstring injury he picked up during his international debut earlier this month.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 27-year-old scored a try on an impressive first appearance<\/a> for Wales in their win over Queensland Reds during their summer tour of Australia.<\/p>\n

Bath said he has had surgery since his return and “begun a rehabilitation process”.<\/p>\n

Grace’s return to competition is under the guidance of Bath’s medical team and would be confirmed in “due course” a statement said.<\/p>\n

Former St Helens and rugby league winger Grace joined Bath last February initially to train, as he recovered from a long-term ruptured Achillies injury.<\/p>\n

He signed a deal<\/a> until the end of the 2024-25 season in April but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club. <\/p>\n

Scotland centre Cameron Redpath has also had surgery on a long-standing shoulder issue and is currently not part of the squad’s pre-season training.<\/p>\n

“The club will be in a better position in mid-August to know for which game he will return,” Bath said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
