Great Britain’s <\/b>Olympic BMX freestyle silver medallist<\/b><\/a> Kieran Reilly has been ruled out of this weekend’s UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Saudi Arabia.<\/b><\/p>\n

Reilly was among the favourites heading into Saturday’s freestyle park event in Riyadh, but suffered a setback related to the broken foot he sustained in April. <\/p>\n

The 24-year-old from Gateshead – who landed two world-first tricks<\/a> in Manchester before the injury – was hoping to win his second world title after his maiden victory at the 2023 World Championships in Glasgow. <\/p>\n

Despite Reilly missing out, six British athletes will be competing with the men’s and women’s freestyle park finals live on the iPlayer and BBC Sport website and app on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
