Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s son Maximilian has signed his first professional contract at his father’s former club AC Milan.<\/b><\/p>\n

Maximilian, 17, will likely feature with the Milan youth team next season as he aims to follow in his father’s footsteps.<\/p>\n

Ibrahimovic, who also played for Barcelona, Paris St-Germain and Manchester United, announced his retirement from football last year<\/a>, and is now an advisor for AC Milan after finishing his career with the Italian side.<\/p>\n

He scored 93 goals across 163 games during two spells at AC Milan, helping them win Serie A titles in 2011 and 2022.<\/p>\n

Former Sweden international Ibrahimovic scored 511career club goals and won 34 trophies – including 12 league titles.<\/p>\n

In a career that began in the last century, the 42-year-old was nominated for the Ballon d’Or 11 times.<\/p>\n

The striker is also his country’s all-time top scorer with 62 international goals in 122 matches.<\/p>\n

The one major club trophy that eluded him was the Champions League, with his only European title winning the Europa League Manchester United in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
