Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has agreed a new contract extension until 2030 worth up to <\/b>a reported record $330m<\/b>, external<\/span><\/a> (\u00a3255m) that will make him one of the highest-paid players in NFL history.<\/b><\/p>\n Allen, the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024 season, will receive a guaranteed $250m (\u00a3193m), according to reports.<\/p>\n Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes signed a 10-year deal in 2020 worth $450m (\u00a3349m).<\/p>\n But the reported \u00a3193m Allen will receive is the largest guaranteed figure paid to any NFL player in the history of the sport, eclipsing the $231m (\u00a3179m) guaranteed to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.<\/p>\n Allen’s new deal comes after the 28-year-old was named the league’s MVP for the first time after leading the Bills to the AFC Championship game, where they lost to the Chiefs.<\/a><\/p>\n Last season, Allen totalled 41 touchdowns – 28 passing, 12 rushing, one receiving – as the Bills scored 30-plus points in 12 games in 2024, tied for the second-most games with 30-plus points by a team in a season in NFL history.<\/p>\n Allen will receive an average of $55m (\u00a342m) per season under his new contract.<\/p>\n Only the Cowboys’ Prescott, who earns an average $60m (\u00a347m) a season, is paid more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
