Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is set to leave the New York Jets, the team has announced.<\/b><\/p>\n

Rodgers, 41, has spent two years with the Jets, but the quarterback suffered a torn Achilles tendon which disrupted his first season in a game against the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n

Last season, Rodgers made history by having the third-best single-season totals in franchise history, which consisted of 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

“I personally want to thank Aaron for his time at the New York Jets,” said chairman Woody Johnson in a statement released by the team. <\/p>\n

“His arrival in 2023 was met with unbridled excitement and I will forever be grateful that he chose to join us to continue his Hall of Fame career. <\/p>\n

It is reported that the Jets will be looking to bring in a new quarterback, as well as a new coaching staff.<\/p>\n

Currently, they already have Tyrod Taylor, Adrian Martinez and 2024 fifth-round pick Jordan Travis on the roster as quarterbacks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
