Britain’s Tom Pidcock won the the AlUla Tour in Saudi Arabia in his first race since joining the Q36.5 Pro team last month.<\/b><\/p>\n

Pidcock, 25, comfortably held on to his advantage on Saturday’s final flat run, having won two of the first four stages. <\/p>\n

The double Olympic champion, who retained his Olympic mountain bike title<\/a> at Paris 2024, left Ineos Grenadiers in December<\/a> to sign a three-year contract with Q36.5.<\/p>\n

“I did it [won] at junior level but never at elite,” he said. “We won as a team. I know it’s only a five-day race but we didn’t even know each other until December.”<\/p>\n

Pidcock’s Italian team-mate Matteo Moschetti won the final stage after outsprinting Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
