Adam Azim and Sergey Lipinets both missed weight for their light-welterweight fight on Saturday in London.<\/b><\/p>\n

Briton Azim blamed the scales as he weighed in 5oz over before his opponent Lipinets was a pound above the 10st limit.<\/p>\n

Each fighter had two hours to lose the weight and unbeaten prospect Azim was confident he would have no issues.<\/p>\n

“There’s something wrong with the scales, because I weighed in earlier and I was more or less than that,” Azim said.<\/p>\n

“It’s all good. Obviously I don’t want to be naked in front of everyone.”<\/p>\n

Azim and Lipinets will contest the IBO title at Wembley Arena, but need to make weight for the belt to be on the line.<\/p>\n

Azim, 22, is unbeaten in 12 fights and is looking to step up to world title level in 2025.<\/p>\n

Lipinets is 13 years Azim’s senior and has 18 wins, one draw and three losses on his record and held the IBF title in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
