Motion graphic identity for the launch of Paula Williams and Dr. Iain MacDonald’s new book ‘Designing the BBC: A History of Motion Graphics’ in collaboration with Framestore and Ravensbourne.

Documenting the rich history and pioneering work of BBC’s Television Graphic Design Department from 1954 to 2021, Charlie Jones and I sought to visualise the past, present and future of motion design through a sequence of squares that rotate through each period of time. Charlie headed the past and present motion sequences in Cavalry whilst I used Blender to visualise the future.
