Two men have been charged following a Garda\u00ed (Irish police) operation on Friday. <\/b><\/p>\n

A man in his 50s and a man in his 60s were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking after Garda\u00ed uncovered 18kg (40lb) of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of \u20ac1.8m (\u00a31.5m) in Dublin.<\/p>\n

An additional 4kg (9lb) of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of \u20ac400,000 (\u00a3343,000) was seized from a vehicle located at the scene.<\/p>\n

In follow-up searches of properties in Dublin, Garda\u00ed found an additional 5,000 MDMA tablets, worth an estimated \u20ac50,000 (\u00a343,000), and 4kg (9lb) of cannabis, worth an estimated \u20ac56,000 (\u00a348,000).<\/p>\n

In total, the estimated street value of the seizures is over \u20ac2.3m (\u00a31.9m).<\/p>\n

The men charged are due to appear before Dublin District Court on Monday.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed (Irish police) have said investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
