Glamorgan have signed pace bowler Connor O’Riordan on a deal running until the end of the 2027 season.<\/b><\/p>\n
O’Riordan played three One Day Cup matches after an extended trial with the Welsh county’s second team.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old was born in Australia but has a UK passport and qualifies as a domestic player.<\/p>\n
“It’s been a great experience making the move over to Wales and joining to boys at Glamorgan,” O’Riordan said. <\/p>\n
“Signing my first professional contract has been something I have been working towards my whole cricket career and for it to come while being over here is really exciting.<\/p>\n
“I’m eager to get out there and show more of what I’ve got to offer and contribute what I can in the back end of the season.”<\/p>\n
O’Riordan took two wickets on his home debut for Glamorgan against Essex after an expensive start in matches away to Middlesex and Durham.<\/p>\n
He had previously represented New South Wales’ second team and played grade cricket in Sydney alongside Ryan Hadley, who featured for Glamorgan in their first eight Championship games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
