The man died in hospital days after the crash on the A939<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

A man has died five days after a crash involving a single vehicle in Aberdeenshire.<\/p>\n

The 85-year-old man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident involving a red Kia Sportage on the A939 at Cock Bridge at about 13:00 on 1 October.<\/p>\n

He underwent treatment for serious injuries, but died on Monday.<\/p>\n

Police have launched an appeal for anyone<\/a> who saw the incident or recorded it on a dash-cam to come forward.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sgt Peter Henderson said: “Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the man who died at this very difficult time.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
