Google<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\nPolice are investigating an alleged racist incident at an under 14s rugby match.<\/p>\n North Wales Police said it received a report of a hate-related offence following a youth match between Denbigh Rugby Club and Wrexham Rugby Club on Sunday.<\/p>\n It is understood the alleged remarks were made towards Denbigh players during the away game at Wrexham.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Wrexham Rugby Club said it did not condone the alleged behaviour, and was carrying out its own investigation.<\/p>\n Denbigh Rugby Club was approached for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In a statement, the Welsh Rugby Union said it had been “made aware of an alleged incident of racism” during the match, adding “the matter will be taken extremely seriously”.<\/p>\n “We are currently waiting for the full code of conduct complaint to be submitted so that we can address the full facts of the incident,” a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n “We will always act upon discrimination, harassment, victimisation or bullying relating to protected characteristics, to ensure Welsh rugby is inclusive and safe for everyone.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Wrexham Rugby Club said it was aware of the alleged incident and was investigating, adding it “will cooperate with North Wales Police as required”.<\/p>\n “We do not condone this alleged behaviour,” a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
