A murder investigation has been launched after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death at an East Sussex railway station. <\/p>\n

The boy was found by officers with stab wounds at Seaford station after they were alerted at about 17:00 BST, British Transport Police said.<\/p>\n

Sussex Police and paramedics also attended, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin informed.<\/p>\n

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in custody.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Det Ch Insp Paul Stanley said: “This is a shocking incident which has resulted in the tragic loss of a young man.<\/p>\n

“The investigation remains in the early stages and the station will remain closed while we continue our enquiries in the area.”<\/p>\n

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
