Hibernian head coach David Gray says the club have captured one of the most “eye-catching young players” in the Scottish Premiership in midfielder Josh Mulligan.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old left Dundee at the end of the season when his contract expired, having coming through the academy at his home town club.<\/p>\n

He made 122 appearances including 41 last season, setting up five goals from a combination of central midfield and right wing-back.<\/p>\n

Mulligan, who played 12 times for Scotland under-21s, has signed a four-year deal with Hibs.<\/p>\n

“Josh was one of the most eye-catching young players in the Scottish Premiership last season and has a lot of the attributes and characteristics we look for in our squad,” Gray said.<\/p>\n

“He’s a young player that’s eager to progress and develop, and gives us extra options with his versatility as he is comfortable as a central midfielder or at right wing-back.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
