A large cordon has been placed around Nottingham Castle due to a “police incident”. <\/p>\n

Officers have closed a number of roads and footpaths leading to the landmark in the city centre, with forensic officers at the scene. <\/p>\n

Nottinghamshire Police warned of closures in Hounds Gate, Maid Marian Way, Standard Hill and Lenton Road in a statement on social media on Saturday morning. <\/p>\n
