Police were called to the bus station at 13:10<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Police have closed Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow after the bomb squad was sent out to reports of a suspicious package.<\/p>\n

There is no access for passengers and no buses can enter or leave, after officers were called at about 13:10.<\/p>\n

Killermont Street outside the station is closed to traffic and people have been urged to avoid the area. Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing.<\/p>\n

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) apologised for the disruption and said passengers would be updated when the station reopens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
