The woman was hit by the car on Brambling Road <\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

A 57-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.<\/p>\n

The incident, involving a black Vauxhall Corsa, happened on Brambling Road at about 17:20 on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The woman was was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she later died.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Corsa was not injured.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
