The headline on the front page of the Metro reads: "You were roarsome!"

The Lionesses’ thrilling victory over Spain in the Euros final dominates Monday’s papers. “You were roarsome!” the Metro declares, splashing its front page with images of the team celebrating their win after a nail-biting penalty shootout. The gleaming Euro trophy is also featured front and centre.

The headline on the front page of the i Paper reads: "Queens of Europe!"

The i Paper praises England’s “incredible show of defiance” as it spotlights a photo of Chloe Kelly kissing the Euro trophy. Kelly scored the winning goal in the penalty shootout to defend England’s crown. The victory means the Lionesses become the first women’s team to retain a European Championship, and also the first England team to win a major trophy away from home.

The headline on the front page of the Guardian reads: "Queens of Europe".

“Queens of Europe” echoes the Guardian as the paper fills its front page with a jubilant image of the team raising their fists and the Euro trophy in celebration.

The headline on the front page of the Sun reads: "The Hann of God".

England goalie Hannah Hampton is dubbed “the Hann of God” by The Sun, accompanied by a photograph of her making one of two crucial saves that secured Euros glory for the Lionesses.

The headline on the front page of the Daily Star reads: "It's home again".

“It’s home again!” blares The Daily Star. The paper applauds England’s “never-say-die” attitude to secure a win that brings “ecstasy” and “delirious” joy across the UK.

The headline on the front page of the Daily Express reads: "Lionesses roar to victory".

The Daily Express follows with “Lionesses roar to victory”, paired with an equally roaring image of the team cheering onstage with their trophy and medals.

The headline on the front page of the Daily Mirror reads: "Lionyesses".

“Lionyesses” proclaims the playful Daily Mirror headline as the paper emblazons its front page with the team hoisting the Euro trophy while being showered in golden confetti.

The headline on the front page of the Daily Mail reads: "Now shut migrant protest hotel".

Savouring their win in a pool of that golden confetti are Michelle Agyemang and Chloe Kelly on the Daily Mail’s front page. Both are gazing lovingly at the Euro trophy between them as the paper teases “a trip to the Palace” is next on the Lionesses’ agenda. Elsewhere, the Mail reports that Labour is facing mounting pressure to shutter an asylum hotel in Epping at the centre of heated protests.

The headline on the front page of the Times reads: "Starmer to press Trump on Gaza".

The Times commends the Lionesses’ win and “stellar era” under boss Sarina Wiegman. The paper says the team is expected to attend a celebratory reception at Downing Street on Monday followed by a victory parade in London on Tuesday. Sharing the top spot, the Times reports Sir Keir Starmer will urge Donald Trump to increase pressure on Israel over aid in Gaza during the pair’s meeting on Monday.

The headline on the front page of the Daily Telegraph reads: "Trump: Wind power is a 'con job'".

The Daily Telegraph celebrates England’s Euros win with a photograph of Chloe Kelly’s “roar of victory” after her winning penalty goal. Also prominent is the paper’s story on Trump calling wind power a “con job” while complaining about turbines “blighting” the landscape at his Turnberry golf course in Scotland.

The headline on the front page of the Financial Times reads: "Brussels accepts 15% US tariffs to fix 'unfair' trade relations says Trump".

And finally, the Financial Times leads with Trump’s announcement of the US and EU reaching a trade deal. The agreement will see 15% tariffs imposed on EU products, with the US president saying the bloc has also agreed to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on American energy and weapons.
