Two lanes of the M25 are closed while police deal with the aftermath of a collision between a lorry and a car.

National Highways said the incident occurred in Essex between Junction 28 at Brook Street and Junction 27.

Essex Police said it received reports at 07:15 GMT and alongside emergency service colleagues were at the scene of the collision where two lanes of the road were blocked.

On X, National Highways said there were delays of 90 minutes and 7.5 miles (12km) of congestion.
