Drums and Wireless does a good job of collecting the bulk of the band’s BBC appearances from 1977
to 1989 — many of which have previously been available only on inferior bootlegs. While many band’s
BBC sessions differ only slightly from the studio recordings, XTC was able to stretch out on their
sessions for significantly different interpretations. This is a necessary addition to any fan’s collection.
