The cabinet office says she followed due process. Henham Strategy told the Sun: “Sam Tarry does not conduct any work for Henham Strategy on any project related to MHCLG [Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government] departmental responsibilities. He works advising us on a number of areas unrelated to that department to ensure no conflicts of interest arises.” The paper notes there is no suggestion he acted improperly or broke any rules.
