Wannabe TV reporters battle it out for a contract with BBC News.
It’s the penultimate episode and there are 4 candidates left. Only two will reach next week’s final. This time, the editor sends out the reporters to a fire incident scene, where they have 30 minutes to prepare and deliver a breaking news report.
The candidates’ performances will be judged by two expert journalists in the field, who face the crucial decision of eliminating the weakest stories, and consequently their reporters.
They will ‘sack’ the two unsuccessful candidates via a Blackberry text message on behalf of the editor. (c)NFTS 2011
